Required Qualifications: PhD. degree in Biomedical Informatics; or an M.D. degree with a fellowship or Masters in Biomedical Informatics; or a PhD. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field with research experience in biomedical informatics. To be considered at the Associate Professor/Professor level, candidates must have active funded research programs in their areas of expertise.

Preferred Qualifications: Research experience in clinical informatics and translational informatics targeted at cancer research. Strong record of interdisciplinary collaborative research with a demonstrated ability to contribute to and lead team science efforts.
Responsibilities & Requirements: Candidates are expected to maintain competitive extramurally funded research programs and to teach at both graduate and undergraduate levels.
Special Notes: This is a tenure track position. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. To qualify for an appointment as Associate Professor or Professor, the candidate must meet the School of Medicine's criteria for Appointment, Promotion and Tenure or the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences criteria.
