Required Qualifications: BS/BA Biology Degree. Experience in human stem cells and molecular biology. Experience with mouse models and animal handling. One year of full-time related lab experience to include, tissue culture, immunohistochemical techniques experience and flow cytometry, and advanced experience in use of microscope. Ability to work independently on projects and ability to perform PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction).
Preferred Qualifications: Master's Degree. Experience with hematopoietic stem cells, bone marrow and cord blood stem cells.
Brief Description of Duties: The Research Technician will conduct studies in a newly funded research project.
Special Notes: This is a full time position, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Research Foundation of SUNY is a private educational corporation. Employment is subject to the Research Foundation policies and procedures, sponsor guidelines and the availability of funding. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. FLSA Nonexempt position, eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA.
