Required Qualifications: College or high school student or possess a High School Diploma/GED. The ability to communicate effectively with children and adults. Prior working experience with children ages 5-15 or camp experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Completion of their Sophomore Year of High School. Ability to develop programs and provide age appropriate instruction in an area of expertise. Strong communicational, organizational and interpersonal skills. Prior coaching or teaching experience.
Brief Description of Duties: The College Camp Assistant will provide daily administrative and supervisory support for the summer camp program. This position will assist campers in the course of daily activities and ensure each camper’s safety. Each incumbent will be responsible for interacting with campers, parents and other staff.
Other Duties: As Assigned by the Directors.
Special Notes: This is a full time, temporary, hourly appointment. Monday through Friday, hours vary. FLSA Nonexempt position, eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. All candidates will be subject to a thorough reference and background check.
