Required Qualifications: Associate's degree in Medical Radiography. License and Registration (AART) required. In lieu of Associate's degree, completion of an accredited ultrasound/vascular program will be considered. Two years of experience in complex radiographic procedures in the specialty of venous/arterial duplex at a skilled technical level or equivalent combination of education/experience may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications: Additional years of experience in performing venous/arterial duplex ultrasound studies. Registered Vascular Technologist.
Brief Description of Duties: The Vascular Technician will perform complex venous/arterial ultrasound studies. The selected candidate will:
Special Notes: This is a part-time position, 32 hours per week, shift (day). The Research Foundation of SUNY is a private educational corporation. Employment is subject to the Research Foundation policies and procedures, sponsor guidelines and the availability of funding. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. FLSA Nonexempt position, eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. *This position is located at Tech Park, East Setauket, NY. Night and weekend work is required. Travel to various Departmental Surgery office sites will be required for this position. **Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
