Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Psychology or related field. Experience working with imaging data. Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail, an eagerness to learn new skills and the ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications: MS Degree in Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Psychology or related field. Experience analyzing images, familiarity with Macintosh computers and keynote.

Brief Description of Duties: The Research Support Specialist will provide research study support. Position requires a highly organized person to assist with information in a research environment. Excellent communication, computer skills and ability to multitask. The selected candidate will be responsible for:
  • Image processing to improve image data consistency.
  • Quality control of imaging data.
  • Assisting in preparation of manuscripts for journal publications.
  • Creating charts and graphs.
  • Assembling PowerPoint/keynote presentation of lab data.
  • Maintaining subject data lists for lab analysis.
  • Monitoring of research charts and database entry.

Other Duties:

Special Notes: This is a full time position, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Research Foundation of SUNY is a private educational corporation. Employment is subject to the Research Foundation policies and procedures, sponsor guidelines and the availability of funding. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. FLSA Nonexempt position, eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA.
