THIS POSTING IS NOT CURRENT !!!Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a field requiring rigorous analytical skills with five years’ experience in a healthcare or health related services field. Baccalaureate in nursing with 5+ years relevant experience in data analysis and management is acceptable. Must be adept in the retrieval, analysis and presentation of healthcare data in support of performance improvement efforts and administrative efforts. Must possess the ability to analyze large databases and utilize appropriate software to conduct analysis.
Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in a field requiring rigorous analytical skills. A demonstrated knowledge of centralized healthcare databases, hospital public reporting requirements, and decision support tools, statistical process control and proficiency utilizing SAS or SPSS.

Special Notes: Shift: Full-time day position, 830am-5pm. INTERNAL CANDIDATES ONLY TO APPLY. All Hospital positions are subject to changes in pass days and shifts as necessary. This position may require the wearing of respiratory protection which may prohibit the wearing of facial hair. Please note Stony Brook Medicine is a smoke free environment.
