A minimum of two years full time professional, post-Bachelor's work experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, excellent verbal, written and organizational skills.Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree. Work experience with confidential records; work experience in a healthcare, mental health, Alcohol and Other Drug, or university setting and with diverse populations. Experience with the management of daily operations at a professional and/or medical office; proficiency with electronic medical records database systems. Brief Description of Duties: The incumbent is responsible for supporting all front desk functions and be the initial/early screening point of contact with Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) and also provide support to the CAPS Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) Department. Time will be split with 50% spent supporting front desk functions and 50% supporting AOD staff members. Responsibilities include management of confidential medical records; management of AOD programs database, phone and email follow-up with external institutions inquiring about the AOD Department's early intervention and prevention services.
Special Notes: This is a full time appointment, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. FLSA Nonexempt position, eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. Occasional evenings, nights and/or weekends may be required. **Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
