Required Qualifications: Must be able to perform constant medium to heavy physical labor. Must have experience operating a variety of motorized equipment such as power jacks, fork-lifts, pump jacks, etc.
Preferred Qualifications: Must have experience in processing UPS, FedEx, and other freight deliveries. Able to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and in writing, with outside vendors and other various SB Hospital personnel.

Special Notes: Shift: 1 Full-time day position - 8:00 am 4:30 pm - pass days are Saturday and Sunday. Please note Stony Brook Medicine is a smoke free environment.
Prior to start date, the selected candidate must meet the following requirements: Successfully complete pre-employment physical examination and obtain medical clearance from Stony Brook Medicine's Employee Health Services (The hiring department will be responsible for any fee incurred for examination), submit (3) written references, and provide a copy of any required New York State license(s)/certificate(s). Please be advised that failure to comply with any of the above requirements could result in a delayed start date and/or revocation of the employment offer.
