Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree. Progressively responsible directly related full time experience and/or a combination of higher education and experience totaling four years may be considered. Four years of applicable experience which must include experience in installing, configuring, securing, monitoring, performance tuning and troubleshooting Oracle PeopleSoft Enterprise applications. Ability to formulate programming code in more than one programming language. Good verbal and written communications skills.
Preferred Qualifications: BS degree in a technical discipline or Master's degree in a technical discipline. Five or more years of applicable experience. Expertise in Oracle SQL query tuning and/or experience in successful performance tuning of complex systems. Programming languages and graphic file formats: SQL, Java, Powershell, Unix scripting, Perl, XSLT. Experience in web applications: Apache Tomcat, Oracle WebLogic, Oracle Tuxedo, Experience in Nolij, Quest Stat, and graphic file formats. Experience in managing a Document Imaging system or electronic content management (ECM) system. Experience in Project Management. Experience in an academic environment.

Brief Description of Duties: The Senior Programmer/Analyst will support PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, Human Resources and Enterprise Learning System and support Nolij Document Image Management System.
  • Install, configure, secure, monitor, performance tune, update and troubleshoot Oracle PeopleSoft applications including Human Resources, Campus Solutions and Enterprise Learning Systems and related systems.
  • Install, configure, secure, monitor, performance tune, update and troubleshoot Quest Stat for Oracle PeopleSoft applications and related systems.
  • Install, configure, secure, monitor, performance tune, update and troubleshoot Nolij Document Image Management System and related systems.
  • Provide technical support for application developers and assist in problem resolution.
  • Provide support for integration between PeopleSoft, Nolij and other applications.
  • Be available in case of an emergency.

Special Notes: This is a full time appointment. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. Night and weekend work is required. Travel will be required for conferences and training.
