THIS POSTING IS NOT CURRENT !!! Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree. Experience in statistics and biostatistics. Preferred Qualifications: In depth knowledge of statistics and technical capability to coordinate or perform systems related tasks. Working knowledge of a scientific procedure oriented programming language. Demonstrated proficiency in the use of statistical packages (SAS, SPSS, or Stata) in UNIX environment. Familiarity with database management systems. Brief Description of Duties: Assists in proposal preparation, creation and management of databases, performance of statistical analyses and model development, interpretation and presentation of results, preparation of reports, and direction and supervision of professional and support staff. Ability to communicate effectively. Assists in the responsibilities for research, selection and implementation of statistical methodologies, as assigned.
