Required Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED. Previous exposure to data collection methods or routines.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree. Experience in Psychology Research. Experience in telephone scheduling or screening. Experience in EEG for research.

Brief Description of Duties: The Research Support Specialist will be working with families to collect saliva samples for hormone assays which includes scheduling, tracking, and problem-solving.
  • Log saliva samples and prepare samples for shipment to laboratory.
  • Collect EEG, neuropsychological test results, and self-report data from children.
  • Coordinate staff to pick saliva samples up from families' homes.

Other Duties: As assigned.

Special Notes: This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, days and hours may vary. The Research Foundation of SUNY is a private educational corporation. Employment is subject to the Research Foundation policies and procedures, sponsor guidelines and the availability of funding. FLSA non-exempt position, eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. Some night and weekend work may be required. Local travel will be required to pick up samples from subjects' homes.
