Required Qualifications: Ph.D., M.D., or M.D./Ph.D. Postdoctoral research experience. Record of peer reviewed publications. To qualify for an appointment as an Associate Professor, the candidate must meet the criteria established by the School of Medicine (School of Medicine's Criteria for Appointment, Promotion and Tenure ).
Preferred Qualifications: Principal Investigator on an externally-funded research project. Principal Investigator on an externally-funded research program in cancer-related research.
Responsibilities & Requirements: The Assistant/Associate Professor will be expected to have an externally-funded independent research program related to Oncology. Candidate will be expected to take an active role teaching in the services courses for medical students as well as Master’s and Ph.D. students. Participation in at least one departmental committee and one University committee is required.
