Required Qualifications: High School diploma/GED. One year of experience in a clerical or medical setting. Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Clerical experience in an ambulatory care setting. Experience with managed care issues. Bilingual Spanish.

Special Notes: This is a full-time position, 37.5 hours per week, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Research Foundation of SUNY is a private educational corporation. Employment is subject to the Research Foundation policies and procedures, sponsor guidelines and the availability of funding. FLSA non-exempt position, eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. Nights and weekends will be required. *This position is primarily located in East Setauket but travel will be required to work at various Pediatric Satellite Offices if needed.
Prior to start date, the selected candidate must meet the following requirements: Successfully complete pre-employment physical examination and obtain medical clearance from Stony Brook University's Employee Health Services (The hiring department will responsible for any fee incurred for examination), submit (3) written references, and provide a copy of any required New York State license(s)/certificate(s).
