Required Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED. Two years of full time clerical experience in a medical office or hospital setting. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Computer proficiency. Strong Customer Service skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with scheduling and managing patient appointments using IDX.

Brief Description of Duties: The Clerk II will be responsible for the following:
  • Schedule and manage patient appointments using IDX.
  • Responsible for completion of Workman's Compensation, No Fault forms and Chart notes.
  • Respond to CPMP requests for Chart notes needed for compliance audits.
  • Schedule DEC, DCP, NAT visit types and prepare SCHED form letters.
  • Provide coverage for coworkers during absences.
  • Review daily charge tickets for accuracy.
  • Distribute, collect, and mail completed patient satisfaction surveys.
  • Provide Monday late coverage of front desk.

Other Duties: As assigned.

Special Notes: This is a full time position, 37.5 hours per week, Mondays 11:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Research Foundation of SUNY is a private educational corporation. Employment is subject to the Research Foundation policies and procedures, sponsor guidelines and the availability of funding. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. FLSA Nonexempt position, eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA.
