Required Qualifications: Candidate must be able to lift large heavy items continuously and stand for long periods of time. Must be fluent in English.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in stocking/inventory supplies.

Brief Description of Duties:
  • Breakdown and stocking of all incoming inventory to storage bins.
  • Stock to be stored in large and/or heavy cases, there are approximately 2000 unique Med/Surg supplies.
  • Pick and deliver orders for the hospital and off-site locations, assist with walk ins as needed.
  • Must be available to assist in Cycle Count and conduction of inventory as needed.
  • Use of hand-held scanners to inventory and maintain accurate 2-bin par level supplies in the clinics; maintain the integrity of supply storage units and other duties as needed.

Other Duties: All other duties as assigned.

Special Notes: 2 Full-time day positions - 6:00 am- 2:30 pm - Tuesday through Saturday. Please note Stony Brook Medicine is a smoke free environment.

The selected candidate must successfully clear a background investigation.
