Required Qualifications: M.D. degree. Board Certified in Pediatrics. Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine.
Preferred Qualifications: Research experience and interest in developing a research program.
Responsibilities & Requirements: Development of research programs, teaching, and participation in patient care programs appropriate to a major university. Individuals will be selected on the basis of their training, clinical experience, research potential and their commitment to teaching. Candidates must have a commitment to excellence, education, patient safety and collaboration.
Special Notes: This is a non-tenure track, full time academic appointment. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. Anticipated start date: As soon as possible. To qualify for an appointment as Associate Professor, the candidate must meet the criteria established by the School of Medicine (School of Medicine's Criteria for Appointment, Promotion and Tenure ). **Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
