Required Qualifications: Doctorate in Human Geography and/or Demography, or related discipline and teaching experience at the college level.
Preferred Qualifications: Training and supervision of Teaching Assistants; major/minor advising experience; Undergraduate teaching experience; and experience in course and curricular development.
Responsibilities & Requirements: Teaching various Human Geography and Demography courses to Undergraduates at Stony Brook Southampton. Sample courses include: Introduction to Human Demography; Introduction to Geospatial Analysis; and Demographic Change of Sustainability.
Special Notes: This is a tenure track position. Anticipated start date: Fall 2009 or Spring 2010. *This position is located in Southampton, NY. **Applications will be accepted until the position is filled.
