THIS POSTING IS NOT CURRENT !!! Required Qualifications: PhD in Engineering/STEM discipline. Prior experience working in an industrial research laboratory, managing university/industrial contracts, and drafting project/progress reports. Prior experience using rheological and thermo analytical instrumentation for characterization of fuels and fuel products. Knowledge of materials processing technology, micro fabrication, confocal and electron microscopy. Ability to monitor usage, manage billing and track accounts handling fees.Preferred Qualifications: PhD degree in the Physical Sciences or Engineering. Brief Description of Duties: The Industrial Project Scientist will operate, maintain, and upgrade thermal and rheological instrumentation in the Advanced Energy Center (AEC) experimental facility and become the primary liaison for AEC/industrial collaborative research and execution of testing contracts.
Special Notes: This is a full time appointment. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA.
