Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in theoretical nuclear or high-energy physics.
Preferred Qualifications: Research in the areas of non-perturbative QCD, in heavy ion collisions, many-body physics and related areas.

Brief Description of Duties:
  • Research on properties of matter produced in high-energy heavy ion collisions.
  • More general studies of QCD.
  • Prepare papers for publications.
  • Present results at scientific meetings.

Special Notes: This is a full time position. The Research Foundation of SUNY is a private educational corporation. Employment is subject to the Research Foundation policies and procedures, sponsor guidelines and the availability of funding. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously.
