Required Qualifications: Doctoral degree or the equivalent degree from a foreign university in Biochemistry, Cell Biology or related field. Familiarity with cancer cell signaling required. Must possess strong analytical skills and be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form.
Preferred Qualifications: PhD and/or foreign MD in Biochemistry or Cell Biology. Background in cancer/cell biology.

Brief Description of Duties: Responsible for the following:
  • Perform cell culture
  • Perform Western blot analysis
  • Assist in animal studies including observation and administering subcutaneous injections
  • Perform DNA cloning
  • Documentation of studies
  • Preparation of manuscripts for publication, including gathering of data and creating legends and charts

Special Notes: This is a full time position. The Research Foundation of SUNY is a private educational corporation. Employment is subject to the Research Foundation policies and procedures, sponsor guidelines and the availability of funding. FLSA Exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Internal and external search to occur simultaneously. *Some nights and weekends may be required.
