Required Qualifications: Doctoral degree or equivalent degree from a foreign university or Ph.D. in Biology or Molecular Biology. Must possess strong analytical skills and be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form.
Preferred Qualifications: Background in cancer/cell biology. One to three years Postdoctoral experience.

Brief Description of Duties: The Postdoctoral Associate will be responsible for the following:
  • Study of novel molecular drug targets.
  • Analysis of cell signaling.
  • Study of animals.
  • Documentation of studies.
  • Preparation of manuscripts and reports.
  • Interaction with students and technical personnel in Department of Medicine.

Special Notes: This is a full-time position. The Research Foundation of SUNY is a private educational corporation. Employment is subject to the Research Foundation policies and procedures, sponsor guidelines and the availability of funding. FLSA exempt position, not eligible for the overtime provisions of the FLSA. Night and weekend work is required.

The selected candidate must successfully clear a background investigation.
