The Vice President provides leadership in developing programs and services consistent with the campus mission of affording a quality campus life experience for students. This includes oversight for the planning and operation of a range of student service units: Campus Residences, Career Placement, University Counseling, Student Activities, Disability Support Services, Student Health Services, Student Judiciary, Commuter Student Affairs and Veterans Affairs. The Vice President for Student Affairs is the primary advocate for students in the development of campus policies, procedures, services and environmental planning and is responsible for the administration of the campus Student Code of Conduct. The Vice President serves as an advisor to the President in all matters affecting the student population. This office interacts with a wide range of individuals and groups including SUNY System offices, legislators, business and community leaders, faculty, students and parents.
