The Stony Brook Faculty Student Association (FSA) is a not-for-profit corporation chartered to provide auxiliary support services to the University including Stony Brook Hospital and the Long Island State Veterans Home. Among the services provided are campus stores, dining, vending, student health insurance, agency accounts and permits for temporary vendors. It also provides opportunities for campus student employment. A Board of Directors consisting of members of the campus community including faculty, administrators and students governs FSA.
