Through the Stony Brook University Hospital Auxiliary grateful patients as well as members of the Campus and extended community raise millions of dollars toward enhancing patient care. Life Support Ambulances, CardioQSystem, mammogram machine, bladder scanner and Patient Education TV are just a few of the numerous initiatives funded by the Auxiliary. Additionally the Auxiliary funds the HOPE Program, supports the Walk for Beauty and the Vial of Life Program. Profits from the Auxiliary Gift Shop, popular vendor sales, excellent fundraising events as well as contributions from employees and others who designate SEFA as the recipient of donations enable the Auxiliary to continue its work.
