University policy does not preclude the employment of two or more members of the same family, including the mother, father, spouse, sibling(s), children, and those individuals who live in the same household. However, to ensure University compliance with Federal and State policies, no employee of the University may recommend or approve any personnel actions affecting a relative, including promotions, salary increases, performance evaluations, or re-appointments. This applies to all forms of employment on campus, permanent or temporary, regardless of the source of funding. Public Officers Law 74
