Blackboard is a dynamic web-based course management system available to all Faculty and Instructors who teach credit bearing courses at the main campus at Stony Brook, Southampton or Manhattan Campuses. It enables Instructors to post announcements and documents, grade classes,create on-line quizzes and surveys and create student groups to communicate via e-mail, discussions boards, etc.

This system is also available to all Academic Departments and Clubs and Organizations recognized by Student Activities.

Instructions and updates to Blackboard are provided by Teaching Learning + Technology staff for Instructors and for Students.
