813.00 Faculty Emeritus

The designation Emeritus is conferred on tenured Faculty who retire in good standing. This status may carry such privileges as use of library and study facilities, use of office and laboratory space, eligibility for research grants and representation of SBU in professional groups.

Emeritus Faculty Association, an informal group sponsored by the Office of the Provost, meets on campus during the academic year to share interests.
