Over the past 33 years, he has published numerous papers on issues related to applied behavior analysis and positive behavior support in the home, classroom, workplace, and community. Dr. Carr has lectured extensively and given workshops in the United States, Canada, and Europe, and has served on the editorial boards of 17 journals. He has been the recipient of many Federal, State, and Foundation grants as well as the Distinguished Research Award from the Association for Retarded Citizens (the Arc), a Certificate of Commendation from the Autism Society of America, and the Applied Research Award for Outstanding Contributions from the American Psychological Association (Behavior Analysis Division).
