Brett graduated from Stony Brook in 1998 with a BA in Chemistry. He joined the Navy and flew the CH-46 "Sea Knight" for Helicopter Combat Support Squadron FIVE based on Guam, deploying with the U.S. Seventh Fleet. He is currently working on a masters in physics at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA. After his expected graduation date of June, 2005, he returns to sea...indefinitely.
