Friends of JCSB

The mission of the Japan Center at Stony Brook (JCSB) is to create a bridge between the university and the local community and to promote education and research related to Japan. JCSB organizes many events every year for this mission. If you wish, you and your family can become Friends of JCSB and receive information about JCSB’s events and activities as well as free admission to Sakura Matsuri (Cherry Blossom Festival). To become a member of Friends of JCSB, please make a tax-deductible contribution to JCSB. JCSB’s activities are funded solely by donations from people like you, and executed by a number of devoted volunteers. Your contribution will make a difference in the lives of students and people in the community. The types of contribution and the benefits for individual supporters are as follows:
