Stony Brook University, in partnership with the SB Pre-College and Community Programs in Music, is able to offer a very limited number of scholarships based on financial need and extraordinary musicianship. Need-based scholarships are for talented students who would not be able to participate without financial support. Only those students who provide a completed financial aid application, including the signed IRS tax returns of both parents, will be eligible to apply. Scholarships are provided through the generous support of University and Pre-College donors.

Scholarship students are expected to attend classes regularly and punctually; they are expected to demonstrate a consistent commitment to their studies. Scholarship applications are by calling us at (631) 632-7313. Scholarships are awarded in September for the school year.
