JOB TITLE: Graduate Coordinator

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree. Four years of full time related responsible administrative experience, or a combination of education and/or experience totaling four years may be considered in lieu of the degree. Two years of full time experience in an office setting. Strong organizational, interpersonal and computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree. Experience working in an academic department. Knowledge of the arts.

EMPLOYMENT: Immediately

RANK AND SALARY: SL2, $34,800 to $38,800

DUTIES: The Graduate Coordinator provides administrative support to the Graduate Program Director (GPD) in the Department of Music. The Department currently enrolls 246 graduate students. In such a large program, it is essential for the incumbent to work independently of the GPD in order to assure that all deadlines are met and that all communications with students and other administrative areas are accurate.

JOB TITLE: Instructor of Bass

QUALIFICATIONS: International reputation as an outstanding performer and/or extensive teaching credentials at the graduate and undergraduate level. Preferred: Contemporary music expertise: deep knowledge of, and commitment to, the music of our time, and skill with its performance. Wide range of musical interests and performing experience

RANK AND SALARY: Part-time Artist-in-Residence
                  Salary Dependent on Qualifications

DUTIES: Teaching graduate and advanced undergraduate students; supervising teaching assistants in bass. teaching repertory classes, coaching chamber music; playing an active and leading role in matters pertaining to the performance program.
