** This is to be used by Student Service Areas only who wish to post announcements for students on Stony Brook's Blackboard System. The announcement feature in Blackboard is called a "module".

Students will be able to see your announcement when they click on either the "SB Courses" or "What's Happening at SBU" tab when they log into Blackboard. Since all students can see what is posted, it is important that information pertain to all students.

It is the responsibilty of the department to maintain the announcement (Blackboard Module). **

Additional Module Managers

You may request that other staff in your department have the ability to manage modules as well. It is the responsiblity of the department to notify us if someone has left the University or is no longer responsible for managing the departments module.
