1. A message from Computer Corner's General Manager

This represents my final correspondence as General Manager of Computer Corner, and it has been my pleasure to serve the campus in this capacity. My involvement with Stony Brook University began about twelve years ago, when I began providing support to the departments that were using Mac Computers.
From the beginning and over the years my goal has been to provide excellent service to the campus technology users.
I have met some terrific people, from whom I learned a great deal about myself, being a manager and community member. In return, I tried to give a little something back to everyone.
I have gained an enormous amount of professional development and personal satisfaction from my years with Computer Corner. My thanks goes to the people, who provided me with guidance, supported my efforts, and the mission of the store.

Thank you,
James Mattern

3. The Administrataive Review Committee of the University Senate is conducting a survey among the faculty and professional staff.

The University Senate is conducting a survey among the faculty and professional staff in order to determine priority concerns for the University. Similar surveys have been conducted periodically, most recently in 1997, and are valuable in determining changes in campus attitudes and perceptions. All responses are non-attributable, and are only summarized at the highest organizational level (e.g., College). This year, the survey is available only on-line. Please take the time to respond. The survey should take only about 15-20 minutes to complete, and a high response rate will make the results more meaningful.

Employees can find out which dentists are in which networks by going to www.2MidAtlanticDeltaDental.com.
