Postal Rate Increase

Please be advised that a postal rate increase has been approved
by the Postal Rate Commission and will take effect on January 7,
2001. Please take note of these changes as you determine your
budgets for the new year. If there any questions about the new

Computing Center's Holiday Closing Schedule

Computing Center Sunday Schedule Change

December 17, 2000 is the last SUNDAY shift of attended operations
for this semester. The Computing Center will be closed on the
weekends during the holidays and intersession. Sunday operation
will resume on January 28, 2001 for the Spring semester.

Amateur Photography Contest At The Shtm! Win An Olympus Camera!

The School of Health Technology and Management (SHTM) is
sponsoring a photo contest and invites you to participate. First
prize is an Olympus camera, donated by Olympus America, Inc. The
contest is open to amateur photograpers who are either faculty,
students, staff, alumni or friends of the SHTM. The deadline for
submissions is January 16, 2001; entries should be delivered to
SHTM Dean's Office, HSC, Level 2, room 400, Stony Brook, NY
11794-8200. Photos should be conducive to an educational
environment; select a subject that would be appealing to general
audiences. Winning entries will be displayed within the SHTM.

Mounted color or black and white slides (35mm) or color and black
and white prints, from 5"x7" to 9"x12" will be accepted. No
digital submissions, please. All submissins must be clearly
marked with the photographers name and address.
