1. Parent Office Created
The Parent Office was created, for parents of undergraduate
students, to serve as a resource for parents questions and
concerns, provide avenues for successful involvement of parents
in university life, and to keep parents informed of what is
happening at the university.
In the coming months, the Parent Office will be supporting the
parent program of new student orientation, reaching out to
parents through newsletters, starting a Parent Office webpage on
the Undergraduate Admissions website, and collaborate with other
departments on special events for parents such as Parents' Day on
October 27, 2001.
The Parent Office is located in the Undergraduate Admissions
Suite, 118 Administration. Christine Kollar is the Parent Office
Coordinator and can be reached at 632-1736 or e-mail,
christine.kollar@sunysb.edu
