1. Golf Outing - Monday, August 20th
On Monday, August 20th, the Brookhaven Chapter of UNICO National,
supporters of the Center for Italian Studies at SBU, is hosting
its 20th Annual Golf Outing at the Port Jefferson Country Club at
Harbor Hills, 44 Fairway Drive, Port Jefferson, New York.
Participation is limited to 140 golfers. The full day schedule
of events begins between 8:30 am - 10:00 am with a check in and
breakfast, shotgun start at 10:00 am, BBQ lunch at the ninth
hole, and 5:00 pm cocktail hour followed by dinner. Awards,
Prizes and Raffles!
Single entrant $195, if paid by July 20th, $185. Tee Sponorship
$100.
Proceeds help support the Center for Italian Studies at SBU.

2. Leave Donations Needed by UUP Employee
One of our UUP employees, Kathleen Czak-Malone, is in need of
leave donations due to illness. Any UUP, CSEA, PEF, MC13 or MC06
employee may donate vacation days towards this cause (please note
that sick leave accruals may not be donated). Vacation time must
be donated in full days and must leave the donor with a minimum
balance of 10 days after the donation. Employees who wish to
donate may contact Delma at Human Resources, Ext. 26186 or the
UUP office at Ext. 26570 to obtain the Leave Donation Form.
Completed forms should be sent to Human Resource Services,Leave
Donation Program, 390 Admin., Z=0751. Thank you!

3. Pollock-Krasner House & Study Center Summer Lecture Series
The Round Table Lectures by artists, art historians and authors
is held at the Pollock-Krasner House on Sundays at 5 p.m.
Tickets are $5, and must be reserved in advance: 631-324-4929.
The talks are followed by discussion, and the artists' studio is
open for visits. Topics and speakers are listed on the Web site,
www.pkhouse.org, or click on the link on the USB home page.
Guided tours of the National Historic Landmark property are free
for UBS students, faculty and staff--please call for an
appointment.

4. Summer Camp at Stony Brook
June 25 - August 17, 2001
ALL SESSIONS ARE STILL AVAILABLE!!!!!!
The Summer Camp at Stony Brook is back for its second exciting
year. The camp combines a unique twist of educational activities
and athletics for children between the ages of 5 to 12. Tuition
includes provision of a camp T-shirt, as well as a hot lunch and
snack each day. For more information on the Summer Camp at Stony
Brook please come to one of our Open Houses or call our camp
