5. Stony Brook University will be part of Jurassic Mall III,
Land, Air and Sea, at the Smith Haven Mall.

Drs. David Krause and Catherine Forster, from the School of
Medicine's Department of Anatomical Sciences, contributed their
dinosaur-hunting expertise to the exhibit of life-size robotic
models set in an authentic rendition of their habitat. They were
recently part of a team in Madagascar that unearthed the fossils
of an unknown dinosaur and named it after rock star Mark Knopfler
from Dire Straits, whose music inspired the scientists during the
dig. Another find, the complete skull of the predatory
majungatholus, will be on display. Luci-Betti-Nash, Anatomical
Sciences' scientific illustrator, contributed much of the artwork
in the exhibit.

Visitors will also learn about the Ankizy Fund, helping to build
schools and improve health care to children in Madagascar.
Entrance for Jurassic Mall is $3/Adults and $2/children under 12.
The exhibit is open Monday - Saturday from noon to 9 p.m. and
Sunday from noon to 6 p.m. from July 1 - August 12.
