Come Explore the "9 Wonders of Wellness" at the 4th annual Campus
Wellness Fair, Wednesday, April 4th from 12-2 in the Kelly
Cafeteria. Come and sample free food for healthy living, pick up
a free wellness day t-shirt and other great give-a-ways and
prizes. Test your knowledge and skills at various booths, watch
demonstrations on various campus activities and make your own
stress balls to help cope with exams. Have some fun while
learning what opportunities exist on campus to increase your
overall wellness. Programs, exhibits and demonstrations will
cover all areas of wellness including spiritual, physical,
emotional, intellectual, environmental, financial, social,
occupational and creative. There will be something for everybody
at this event jointly sponsored by the departments of: Campus
Recreations, Mount Health and Wellness Living Learning Center,

Interested in Using a New On-Campus Hotel Conference Center?

Stony Brook University's Stony Brook Realty, Corp. (SBFR) is in
the process of finalizing a Sub-Lease with the Thayer Lodging
Group to develop the planned Conference Center Hotel project to
the south of the University main entrance.

We are now at the stage that the Thayer representatives would
like to talk with and interview representatives from all
University Academic and non-Academic departments, as well as
Health Sciences and Hospital departments that would have interest
in using the new facility either for meetings, conferences, or
for overnight guests, etc.

Stony Brook University's Annual Take Our Daughters to Work Day
will be held on Friday, April 27, 2001.

Join us for a day filled with opportunities to explore many

Engineering will discuss "Processes for Teaching Engineering
Design." Gary Mar of Philosophy will discuss "Strategies for the
Teaching of Logic." Tom Sexton of the Harriman School for
Management and Policy will discuss the "Case study Approach."
