Welcome Wagon- Fall 2007
Dear Colleagues and SBU Student Leaders
The Division of Campus Residence offers students the leadership opportunity to help make Opening Weekend for new resident students a welcoming and inviting day. Welcome Wagon has become a growing tradition and is a part of move in day that many returning students look forward to as a way to interact with new students, contribute to the endless tasks required to make check-in run smoothly and to simple be part of the excitement of the back-to-school spirit.
In exchange for arriving back to campus a few days early, Welcome Wagon Volunteers can either help one on of 2 days
Check-in Day- Saturday, September 1st, 2007- where WW volunteers help First Year students move their belongings into their residence hall room.
Undergraduate College Day- September 2nd, 2007- This day WW volunteer will be helping the Quads facilitate fun activities for the First Year students
