2. Stony Brook's Podcast Directory - a resource for Faculty

Did you know that Stony Brook has a podcast server that faculty can use to post their lectures?
Podcasting allows you to publish supplemental materials or even whole lectures in a way that many students will find familiar and convenient. It downloads to the users automatically once they are subscribed to the podcast, and allows them to review the audio or video anytime and even take it with them if they have an iPod.
Don't have the time to learn new technology, but you still feel that it would be helpful to your class?
Suggest that a student bring a recorder to class. When the class is done, Teaching, Learning + Technology will take the recording and put it up on the server for you.
