5. Korean Film Series 2005: Shiri Tuesday, November 15, 7:00 p.m., Wang Center Theater FREE ADMISSION
A dazzling action movie from South Korea, Shiri follows two South Korean government agents, Ryu and Lee, as they pursue a female super-assassin from North Korea. Meanwhile, an elite paramilitary squad from North Korea has stolen a shipment of CTX, an undetectable liquid explosive of enormous power, which they've planted all over the city of Seoul. As their investigations are successively foiled, Ryu and Lee begin to suspect that there is a mole within the ranks of the agency–and it may be one of them. Both hyperstylish and hyperrealistic, Shiri is a smooth fusion of Hong Kong and American action movies. Ryu's troubled romance with his alcoholic fiance adds a striking emotional counterpoint to the blazing gunfights and high-speed chases; the ending is unexpectedly moving. (Written and directed by Je-Gyu Kang, 1999)

6. Art Healing Space II: Seeing Through Sixty Years November 9-23, Skylight lobby at Wang Center FREE ADMISSION
Today we bear the continuous production, testing and dissemination of nuclear weaponry, the contamination of Earth's fragile ecology, and the culture of an ever-present fear of Armageddon. Seeing Through Sixty Years seeks a transformation in a new vision graced with sensitivity, consciousness, public dialogue, hope, and possibly, redemption. Seeing Through Sixty Years represents the united efforts of a community of artists who have come together to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the dropping of the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Passed down to us from 1945 is the costly patrimony of still-horrifying images of charred bodies, decimated buildings and despondent victims. Curated by Nobuho Nagasawa with participation from SBU's Art Department.

Raja Chowdhary (Rahul Bose), a Muslim photographer, and Meenakshi Iyer (Konkona Sensharma), a Brahmin woman, become well acquainted on a bus ride to Calcutta as Raja assumes responsibility for the woman and her child. The film takes an unexpected turn as Hindu extremists stop the bus in search of Muslim blood to avenge the burning of a Hindu village. Meenakshi who is initially surprised and skeptical eventually claims Raja as her Hindu husband, Mr. Iyer, in order to save his life. (Aparna Sen, 2002, 120 min., Bengali with English)

Being over fat can have serious health consequences as you age. Using Callipers we will determine your bodyfat content, provide a consultation on your results, as well as provide you with information on weight management, diet and exercise.
Caliper Pinch Test: This is also known as the skin-fold pinch test, and it involves using a caliper to measure bodyfat by pinching the skin at various areas on the body. People store fat in different places, so multiple pinches are needed to get an accurate reading. This is a good way to track month-to-month changes in body composition.
