The annual University Convocation includes President Shirley Strum Kenny’s State of the University Address and the introduction of new faculty. All faculty, staff and students are encouraged to attend.


University Awards Dinner

A “by invitation only” dinner is held during which President Kenny presents the President’s and Chancellor's Awards for Excellence. The guest list includes recipients of awards and mini-grants, faculty who have been elected to the Academy of Teacher-Scholars, and those who have been promoted to the ranks of Distinguished Professorships. Chairpersons, supervisors, nominators, members of the selection committees, and vice-presidents are invited to join the faculty and staff who have been identified in the above categories.
