The annual recognition ceremony honors faculty and staff who have served the University at Stony Brook for 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 years. Pins indicating the number of years served and special University gifts to those who have served 30 years or more are presented by the University President and Provost. A dinner for all recipients and their guests follows the formal program.
