The office of Conferences and Special Events organizes annual and one time events for a variety of purposes. Stony Brook’s annual events such as Artists, Authors and Editors, Faculty Achievement and The University Convocation are held to honor and reward our faculty and staff for their outstanding contributions to their fields and to the University .The Service Awards ceremony pays tribute to members of our community for their many years of Stony Brook service, while events such as the Fall and Spring Pride Patrols bring the entire community together in a common project encouraging camaraderie and promoting a sense of community, caring and pride in our campus.
