The State of New York introduced Employee Assistance Programs as a new service to its employees in 1984. The USB local program was founded in 1985. Our mission is to provide a comprehensive worksite-based program to assist faculty and staff in the prevention, early intervention and resolution of problems that may impact job performance. These include but are not limited to: emotional, family, work stress, legal, financial, grief, change, marital/relationship, alcohol/drug or domestic violence.The goals of the USB EAP are:
